i love to stop when i see jw's in the field.. and say what you have today? after i work them over for a while. they ask for their mag's back... i then say no i want to pay for them!!! they say it's a donation for the preaching work... and only to pay for the printing and distribution of the mag's ... at this point i count how many mag's i talked them out of , then times it by 4 cents each .. so if i 'm holding 4 mag's in my hand.. i give them a quarter and ask for 9 cents change... they look at me like i'm crazy.. and i tell them the whole THUTH of how it only costs the wt @ 4 cents a issue to print paper ,ink , electric, slave labor, room and board and all.etc....i find this tactic very effective and they always leave befuddled... i'm sure it makes many think....and i hope it makes them put less in the box at the hall... john

Help! Neighbor starting a study

the very zealous elderly pioneer sister who lives across the street (alberta) has been canvassing the neighborhood for studies.
i watch her walk up and down the street and being very friendly and helpful with her neighbors (all the while preaching to them i'm sure).

hi trot; i say talk to mary and invite her for a study with you .. tell her your story.. don't be shy let out all you know about the wt.. blow the wt right out of the box... before the mind control sets in .. this is the most important thing...not to lose her mind... if she insists to keep studying with the jw's offer to go to a wt study with her... when mary see's how they act with you ...at that point she will see how they will treat her when she's has questions... i like to ask the jw's to prove from what the wt was teaching from 1914 -1919 how jesus choose the wt at that time ...using watchtowers from that time only... it works every time... they will never study those old wt books... happy hunting,, be loving but be firm... the lord will be with you.....freedom in christ ......john

blondie; thanx for your great breakdowns weekly.. but you never say which wt they are studing date and page.. when i call my dad to argue with him on the study of the week ..i don't know which wt they are on .. last week he told me they were on the mother threasa wt. that was a sept wt.. please give this info in the future so i can get the right wt out.. john

i have heard so many commercials telling me what to think and vote on, that i am just counting the days to when it all goes away.
every once in a while there will be programs on the television, where the two candidates debate.

i always call jw's politians when they change the subject>>>> my father 3 years ago challenged ne to check up on the wt because they had nothing to hide ... well it only took weeks or months for me to blow him out of the box.. to the point he had to get the police to throw me out of the house.. now he won't even answer me.. because he knows i will catch him in ever other lie... so i told him many times you sound like bill clinton " i neever had sex with that woman " and i have not stopped saying you sound like a politian every time he tries to change the subject... john
